Even though Dave and I divorced many years ago, I still have poignant memories of our time together from 1974 - 1989.
Dave had the capacity to listen and empathize deeply and his work as a teacher was always incredibly important to him.
He had both skill and creativity running through him but kindness was the most beautiful gift he brought to the world.
I remember many days of happiness and joy and visiting his close knit family in Stanley Co. Durham. His parents, Peter and Bernice, were welcoming and loving.
Thank you Dave for those years. I trust that life brought you deep connections and friendships which comforted you as you transitioned.
With love,
Jan

I am I and you are you, whatever we were to each other that we still are.
Speak to me in the easy way which you always used.
Why should I be out of mind because I am out of sight?
Life means all that it ever meant, it is the same as it ever was.
